I enjoy all things artistic. I have so far created three original short cartoons on my computer, and two based on other people's characters (with permission).
I have also started my own webcomic, Jenni. I'm in the planning stages for a graphic novel. I'm debating on whether to release it via the web or to try to get it published.
I finally managed to create my own music. I love music, but I've never tried to make my own songs before. During the 2011 February Album Writing Month challenge, I created my first song, Slipping Serenity, which was played on the second FAWMCast Radio show (getting radio play was one of my life ambitions, so I'm very happy
). I created an animated music video using my animations I created during the first January Animation Month challenge.
I am still working at writing a novel. I started a novel for the National Novel Writing Month 2009 challenge, but I didn't get 50,000 words done in time. Then I started another novel for the NaNoWriMo 2011 challenge, but didn't get 50,000 words done in time that year either. I have since thought of a way to combine the two novels into one, which I think will make it more interesting than either would be alone. I'm going to be working on that in 2012.
I love travelling. I enjoy seeing new cities, towns, and villages, going new places, and especially going to fairs and enjoying the music and food.
I am also trying to improve my baking skills. I would love to some day be able to make creative, beautiful cakes like those on the television show Ace of Cakes. My sister bought me cake decorating lessons for my birthday, so in April I'll be one step closer to that dream.
On the subject of food, I love trying new foods, and especially love trying new cheeses.
