Sega is a video game company that has been making video games since the 1970's. Before that, they sold mechanical coin-operated arcade games and pinball machines since 1940, and began making their own in the 1960's.

In the mid to late 2000's I didn't enjoy Sega games as much as I used to, because the games seemed to lack the creativity they used to have.

However, in the 2010's this has been changing. Sonic and Sega All-Stars is the first kart racing game I've played that is as fun as the Mario Kart series. It really feels like something that would have been made in the Dreamcast era before Sammy's hostile takeover of Sega.

in My favorite Sega games are the Sonic the Hedgehog platform games on the Sega Genesis, and Jet Set Radio, the Shenmue games, and Crazy Taxi on the Dreamcast.
